Makala is Turning...

I made these for my cousin's daughter. They are one of my new favorites as the decorating possibilities are endless!

One problem though--I have to send these to Florida. At first I was worried about her receiving a box of crumbs, never even thinking about the heat. Icing and heat don't mix! I'm curious to see what kind of shape they are in when they arrive.

Any Occasion

I made these (and a few others just like them) to have on hand for any occasion.
They are in the freezer and available for purchase. I also have some blank cookies to personalize if you want to include a message with your bouquet--thank you, get well, happy birthday, welcome back to school :), it's always a good thing to butter up the teacher on the first day!

Speaking of school, in case you haven't noticed, we've changed our causes. Since we have seniors this year, one of our good causes is Damascus High School Post Prom.

We Have a Winner

Congratulations Samantha, you were the only entry and only had one wrong. From left to right the cutters are as follows:

cowboy hat, birthday cupcake, bathing suit, barn, horseshoe, tombstone, bikini bottom, towel/blanket, horse, goat, bathing suit top, hot pepper, sunglasses, cow, humming bird

Stay tuned later in the week, I'll be posting a pic of something new and exciting using a couple of these cutters.

Back in the Flip-Flops Again!

Thank you Audrey, for getting a new cutter so quickly. The official cookie of the summer reigns on!

Name These Cutters

Since the flip flop wasn't to be found I had to order a new one. I couldn't have that poor cutter shipped by itself so I bought some friends to travel with it.

Can you name the cutters? The first person to respond with the correct description of the 15 cutters wins a dozen cookies of their choice. Cutter names can be given in any order. The flip flop is not in the picture. Make sure your guess includes your e-mail address.

If you aren't local, your cookies will be shipped. If no one guesses correctly by Monday, the one with the most correct wins!

Lost: The Official Cutter of Summer Reward: Cookies of Course!

Joan and I own a million cookie cutters. We have duplicates of course, but usually share the ones we have singles of. She called and wanted to borrow the flip flop (yes, the official cookie of summer--the cookie that brings me the most joy). No problem I say, come right over.

I keep my cutters organized in clear bags with theme labels. The flip flop was not in the summer bag! OK, maybe it got put in the baby bag as I had just used baby cutters. No luck. I searched through my 500,000 cutter collection with no luck. I tore my house apart, no luck.

If you see my lost cutter, please return it, it means so much to me. I'm offering a reward of a dozen beautifully decorated cookies of your choice--they can't be flip flops though :(
