Easter cookies

Picture the traditional white Easter Bunny and some pretty pink tulips! My pictures turned out awful! I will try again later...

Music is in the Air!

We had an order for cookies that would be used as an award for perfect attendance at group piano lessons. I love music---but black and white icing does terrify me! There is just no way to have a music cookie that is not black and white...so I conquered my fears yet again.

On to the new! Easter cake pops!

Made these to take to my daughter at college. There were a lot more than in this picture! She shared and they were gone very quickly.

Last of the Regrets---Bunco Cookies

My friend was hosting Bunco and asked if I could make some cookies for her. These are really pretty simple except for the fact that black and white icing together terrifies me--shows every mistake and sometimes runs!

More Regrets--Superbowl Cookies

I decided not to make complicated helmets this year since they can be very complicated and opted for simple footballs instead!

Regrets for lack of past blogging!

I did make valentine cookies! My cookie partner is such a fast blogger that it allows me to procrastinate!

Random Easter

I don't know about you, but the bunnies in my yard are brown--they inspired me to make brown bunnies instead of white. Although we all know the Easter bunny is really white. I made the centerpiece from peeps and jelly beans. I don't like the flowers, they were all I could find at a quick trip to the grocery store. I think I'll switch to tulips or maybe cookies!

I had chick pictures to post too, but they just won't cooperate (the picture wants to post sideways).

Stay tuned for eggs too.

What You Get When You Trust Me

Amanda and I planned these cookies via e-mail. She asked for teacups for a bridal shower and said the colors were pastels--purple, yellow, green and ivory. I wrote to her that when I think of teacups, I think flowers. Her reply was "I trust you"!

So, this is what you get when you trust me. I wish I was half as good a photographer as a cookie decorator. These are much more beautiful in person.

"You're My Favorite Deputy"

A quote by...(answer below)

Nina ordered these as a thank you for a friend of hers. They were made for a Frederick County Sheriff, so the design is a little different than those I've made for Montgomery County Police in the past.

Sheriff Woody of course.
